Bowl of wishes

First of all, I'd like to comment on the lovely composition of this piece. The off-centered subject with leading lines makes it a very pleasing image for the eye.
I especially enjoy the contrast of the blurry background vs. the super-clear foreground. The colours all work very well together, and I like the use of reflection in the foreground.
The idea of small colourful items in a jar has always been alluring to me.
As I was browsing through critiqueable deviations, this is the one that caught my eye. It was such a simple yet powerful image that I couldn't resist making a few comments on it.

Overall it is a very lovely piece.
