Description

I really don't know a nice name for this photo.

I just liked the lens flare, sun, trees and colors :)

Great forest shot. Very effective capture of the rich green colors. I like the one third proportion - ground level at right level. Maybe putting the sun at a thirds intersection too would help the overall feel. The perspective of the path is good - leads you deeper into the image. Only thing I might have tried is to get lower to the ground and try to increase the sense of depth leading into the image. Not a real spectacular shot but you have done a very good job with a beautiful scene that is for sure. The blue spot is lens flair and could be edited out so not to be a distraction.

I will close with this quote from a very accomplished commercial photographer - Joel Grimes.
“People often ask me to critique their work, and tell them I am not qualified. There is nobody who knows more about what is right for you as an artist than you. I can give them my opinion, but it is highly subjective. Your intuition is your best guide. Be careful you are not molded by everyone’s opinions. Stick with what feels right to you and do in again and again until you rock the world. You are an artist, think like one and follow your dreams.”
